Day 1 – Rome → Assisi → Siena → Florence (L)

Depart at 7:15 AM by deluxe coach for Assisi, a medieval hill town surrounded by ancient walls. Visit the Basilica of St. Francis, adorned with frescoes by Giotto and Cimabue, and enjoy lunch in a local restaurant. Continue to Siena, a UNESCO-listed city famous for its shell-shaped Piazza del Campo and the historic Palio horse race. Later, travel through the scenic Tuscan countryside to reach Florence. Overnight in Florence. HOTEL RAFFAELLO 4* or HOTEL UNA VITTORIA 4* or similar.

Day 2 – Florence (B, L)

Explore Florence, the cradle of the Renaissance. Visit the Duomo, Brunelleschi’s Dome, Giotto’s Bell Tower, and the Baptistery. Continue to Piazza della Signoria, Palazzo Vecchio, and Santa Croce Basilica. Enjoy lunch in a traditional Tuscan trattoria. In the afternoon, enjoy leisure time or join an optional excursion to Pisa to see the Leaning Tower and Piazza dei Miracoli. Overnight in Florence.

Day 3 – Florence → Bologna → Venice (B, Local Food Experience)

After breakfast, depart for Bologna and stroll through its arcaded streets. Visit Piazza Maggiore, the Basilica of San Petronio, and other historic landmarks. Savor a light local food experience featuring regional specialties. Continue to Venice for hotel check-in and rest.

Day 4 – Venice (B, Local Food Experience)

Begin your day in Piazza San Marco with a guided tour of St. Mark’s Square, the Doge’s Palace, and the Bridge of Sighs. End your morning with a classic Venetian aperitif and cicchetti (traditional snacks). Spend the afternoon at leisure exploring canals, artisan shops, and charming piazzas. Overnight in Venice.

Day 5 – Venice → Montepulciano → Rome (B, Local Food Experience)

Depart for Montepulciano, a hilltop town surrounded by vineyards and known for its acclaimed Vino Nobile wines. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant paired with fine Tuscan wine, then enjoy free time to explore before returning to Rome. Overnight in Rome. HOTEL ST. Day 6 – Vatican Museums & St. Peter’s Basilica (B)

Enjoy a guided tour with skip-the-line access to the Vatican Museums, including the Galleries of Tapestries and Maps, Raphael’s Rooms, and the breathtaking Sistine Chapel. The tour concludes in St. Peter’s Square. The afternoon is free, with optional tours available. Overnight in Rome.

Day 7 – Rome at Leisure (B)

Spend the day at leisure exploring Rome at your own pace — wander through its piazzas, enjoy espresso at a café, or join an optional guided excursion. Overnight in Rome.

Day 8 – Rome → Sorrento (B, D)

Depart early for Sorrento, traveling through the scenic regions of Lazio and Campania. Arrive in Sorrento and check in to your hotel. The afternoon is at leisure, or you may join an optional Amalfi Coast excursion. Dinner at the hotel.
Overnight in Sorrento.

Day 9 – Sorrento → Capri → Sorrento (B, D)

Take a full-day excursion to the island of Capri. Weather permitting, visit the enchanting Blue Grotto by rowboat, then enjoy time exploring the island’s boutiques and charming lanes. Return to Sorrento for dinner at the hotel. Overnight in Sorrento. GRAND HOTEL VESUVIO 4*

Day 10 – Sorrento → Pompeii → Naples → Overnight Ferry to Palermo (B)

After breakfast, travel to Pompeii for a guided tour of the archaeological site, exploring remarkably preserved streets and villas. Continue to Naples Port to board your overnight ferry to Palermo. (No meals provided on board.)

Day 11 – Palermo (D)

Day 12 – Palermo → Monreale → Palermo (B, D)

This morning, visit Monreale Cathedral, a UNESCO site renowned for its dazzling mosaics and Norman architecture. Return to Palermo for a walking tour of the city, including Palermo Cathedral and the historic Old Town. The afternoon is free. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight in Palermo.

Day 13 – Palermo → Erice → Marsala (Light Lunch & Wine Tasting) → Agrigento (B, L, D)

Drive to Erice, a medieval village perched high above the sea. Continue to Marsala for a light lunch and wine tasting at a traditional winery. Proceed to Agrigento to visit the stunning Valley of the Temples, a UNESCO site with the Temples of Concordia, Hercules, and Jupiter. Dinner and overnight in Agrigento. HOTEL DELLA VALLE 4*

Day 14 – Agrigento → Ragusa Ibla → Ragusa (B, D)

Day 15 – Ragusa → Noto → Syracuse → Taormina (B, D)

Day 16 – Taormina → Mount Etna → Taormina (B)
