ITINERARY & PRICES

Day 1 Arrive Nairobi
Arrive to Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport by scheduled flight. You are met inside the Arrivals Hall by our representative and fast tracked to clear customs and immigration formalities. He will assist you to the transfer vehicle for your transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight. Accommodation Hemingways Nairobi [or similar] deluxe room on half board basis (excludes lunch, drinks laundry) includes filtered water, juice, local beer, house wine by the glass and non premium spirits.

Accommodation in Nairobi is subject to availability of Hemingways Nairobi. If space is not available, you will be advised at the time of booking of which similar property has been reserved.

Day 02 Nairobi - Meru National Park
Transfer to Nairobi’s Wilson Airport. Fly by the SkySafari flight to Meru National Park. Transfer to the camp with game viewing en route, arriving for lunch. Following lunch and a chance to enjoy the camp’s facilities, have an afternoon game drive and then return to the camp for dinner and overnight. Accommodation Elewana Elsa’s Kopje on full board basis including all meals, bottled water, juice, local beer, house wine by the glass and non-premium spirits plus laundry.

Day 03 Meru National Park
Early morning game drive and bush breakfast. Continue game viewing arriving at the camp for lunch. Afternoon visit to the Rhino Sanctuary. Sundowner cocktail in the bush and then return to the camp for dinner and overnight. Accommodation Elewana Elsa’s Kopje on full board basis including all meals, bottled water, juice, local beer, house wine by the glass and non-premium spirits plus laundry.

Day 04 Meru National Park - Loisaba Conservancy
Following breakfast at the camp, there is an escorted hike up Mughwanjo Hill. Then transfer to the airstrip for the SkySafari flight to Loisaba Conservancy. VIP welcome with a briefing about the conservancy. Game drive en route to the camp arriving for lunch. In the afternoon depart for a game drive followed by a sundowner. Dinner and overnight. Accommodation Elewana Loisaba Tented Camp on full board basis including all meals, bottled water, juice, local beer, house wine by the glass and non-premium spirits plus laundry.

Day 05 Loisaba Conservancy
Morning participate in one of the numerous activities offered by the camp – game drive, cultural visit to Samburu village / guided bushwalk, horse and camel safari, lion tracking, mountain biking, fishing (seasonal), visit to the conservancy headquarters and antipoaching sniffer dogs. Enjoy a bush breakfast, followed by a spa treatment. Lunch is at the camp. In the afternoon, depart on a game drive or chose from one of the activities on offer, returning to camp for dinner. Accommodation Elewana Loisaba Tented Camp on full board basis including all meals, bottled water, juice, local beer, house wine by the glass and non-premium spirits plus laundry.

Day 06 Loisaba Conservancy - Masai Mara National Reserve
Following breakfast, you game view en route to the airstrip. Fly by the SkySafari aircraft to Masai Mara National Reserve. Game drive en route to the camp arriving for lunch. Following lunch and a chance to enjoy the camp’s facilities, have an afternoon game drive and then return to the camp for dinner and overnight. You also have sundowners in the bush before reaching the camp. Accommodation Elewana Sand River Masai Mara on full board basis including all meals, bottled water, juice, local beer, house wine by the glass and non-premium spirits plus laundry.

Day 07 Masai Mara National Reserve
OPTIONAL Shared Hot Air Balloon Safari - Early morning shared transfer in the balloon company vehicle to the balloon staging site. You meet the pilot who provides a safety briefing while the crew inflate the hot air balloon. At sunrise, your shared hot air balloon lifts off over the African plains. At times, your pilot will ascend to a higher altitude to give you an overview of the ecosystem. Then you descend to treetop level to silently observe the wildlife from above. After about 50 minutes, you land and are met by the balloon staff to transport you to your shared bush breakfast. You then return to your camp or lodge. Please note that the cost is NOT included in the main quotation and shown separately.

Depart with a picnic hamper lunch for a full day game viewing in Masai Mara National Reserve. Return to the camp for dinner under the stars. Overnight. Accommodation Elewana Sand River Masai Mara on full board basis including all meals, bottled water, juice, local beer, house wine by the glass and non-premium spirits plus laundry.

Day 08 Masai Mara National Reserve - Nairobi/ Depart Nairobi
Following breakfast, you transfer to the airstrip for your SkySafari flight back to Nairobi’s Wilson Airport. You are met on arrival and transfer to Four Points by Sheraton Nairobi Airport Hotel where you have use of a day room. Lunch is provided at the hotel (excludes drinks). You then transfer to Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure flight.
