Day 2 Rio de Janeiro
Private - Full Day Sugar Loaf and Corcovado._
Duration: 8 hours
A full day to enjoy the best views of Rio de Janeiro and its main attractions! To get from the base of Corcovado to its summit we will take a few minutes train ride up to its summit. On the way we will cross part of the Tijuca Forest, the largest urban forest in the world. At the top we will be welcomed with open arms by Christ the Redeemer, the most representative monument of the country and one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World. In addition, Corcovado will give us an impressive panoramic view of the city. As we descend, we will explore the city, passing in front of the legendary Maracaná stadium. We will stop at the Sambadrome, the work of Oscar Niemayer, where the Rio de Janeiro Carnival troupes parade year after year, and the imposing and modern Cathedral of San Sebastián, built between 1964 and 1979 whose architecture is influenced by the pyramids of Central American cultures. When we arrive at the Selarón Stairs, let's get our cameras ready, because we will find ourselves in one of the most famous and colorful postcards of the city. For lunch we will visit a traditional Brazilian steakhouse. Our day will not be complete without getting on the oldest cable car in the city to visit the Sugarloaf Mountain (395 m), from where we will have a spectacular panoramic view of Rio.
