Day 1 – Sunday | Welcome to Scotland
Arrive independently in Edinburgh and make your way to your hotel. Meet your Tour Director and settle in before enjoying an included welcome dinner at the hotel. Overnight in Edinburgh at The Bruntsfield Hotel.

Day 2 – Monday | Edinburgh – Royal Heritage and Historic Landmarks
Discover Edinburgh’s royal history with a private guided morning tour of the Palace of Holyroodhouse, the King’s official residence in Scotland. Visit the magnificent State Apartments, explore the historic apartments of Mary, Queen of Scots, and admire the palace gardens. Continue with a guided walking tour along Edinburgh’s Royal Mile, passing historic closes, St Giles’ Cathedral and views of Edinburgh Castle. In the afternoon, visit the Royal Yacht Britannia, the former royal yacht that served the Royal Family for more than four decades. Overnight in Edinburgh.

Day 3 – Tuesday | Edinburgh – St. Andrews – Aberdeenshire
Depart Edinburgh and cross the iconic Forth Bridge, travelling along the scenic coastline of the Kingdom of Fife. Pass picturesque fishing villages such as Crail and Anstruther before arriving in historic St. Andrews. Explore the town and visit the atmospheric ruins of St. Andrews Cathedral. Enjoy an afternoon tea lunch at the Rusacks Hotel overlooking the legendary Old Course, followed by a walking tour of this world-famous golf course. Continue to Aberdeenshire for dinner at your hotel. Overnight in Aberdeenshire at Norwood Hall.

Day 4 – Wednesday | Aberdeenshire – Inverness
Meet a local farmer at an Aberdeenshire cattle farm for a special Highland cattle experience. Learn about these iconic long-haired animals, hear stories about their heritage and enjoy the opportunity to meet and groom the cattle. Travel through the spectacular scenery of Cairngorms National Park, with time to explore the Victorian village of Ballater and its historic Old Royal Station. Continue to a renowned Scottish whisky distillery, such as Royal Lochnagar, to discover the whisky-making process and enjoy a dram of Scotland’s famous “Water of Life.” Arrive in Inverness for dinner at your hotel. Overnight in Inverness at Kingsmills.

Day 5 – Thursday | Inverness – Loch Ness – Inverness
Discover the legends and landscapes of Loch Ness on a scenic cruise across its deep, mysterious waters. Enjoy panoramic views of the Highlands and the dramatic ruins of Urquhart Castle. Continue to the coastal town of Dornoch, with time for lunch independently. In the afternoon, visit Dunrobin Castle, an impressive historic residence inspired by French château architecture. Explore its grand interiors and gardens, and enjoy a falconry demonstration featuring magnificent birds of prey. Return to Inverness. Overnight in Inverness.

Day 6 – Friday | Inverness – Culloden – Dunkeld – Stirling – Glasgow
Travel south through Scotland’s historic landscapes, beginning with Culloden Battlefield, where the Jacobite uprising came to a tragic end in 1746. Explore the battlefield with a costumed guide who brings the events and stories of the conflict to life. Continue to the picturesque village of Dunkeld, where you will have free time for lunch. Visit Stirling Castle, one of Scotland’s most significant historic fortresses. Discover its royal connections, grand halls and Renaissance architecture before continuing to Glasgow. Overnight in Glasgow at Hotel Indigo Glasgow.

Day 7 – Saturday | Discover Glasgow
Explore Glasgow’s rich heritage and vibrant culture. Visit Glasgow Cathedral, a magnificent example of medieval Gothic architecture, and the nearby Necropolis, a historic Victorian cemetery offering impressive views across the city. Continue on a panoramic city tour to discover Glasgow’s architectural landmarks, riverside attractions and lively cultural districts. Highlights include George Square, the Clyde Arc and Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum. Enjoy free time to explore Glasgow independently before gathering for an included farewell dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in Glasgow.

Day 8 – Sunday | Glasgow – Farewell
Enjoy breakfast before checking out of your hotel and continuing your onward journey.
